The location for this facility is RLM 11.204. There is a complete set of Video Conference Equipment in this room. You can contact Dr. Phillips to arrange instructions on how to use the equipment in this room.
This facility was designed to meet the needs of the IFS/FRC and Physics Department scientist and educators for their meetings or presentations. It is not a conference center and does NOT have a staff to maintain the room.
- The rooms are provided in "as is" condition. Apart from what is already within the room, nothing extra will be provided.
- Reservations are made through the IFS secretary and a calendar is maintained on the FRC Web site. When making a reservation allow sufficient time to set up for the event and to clean up afterwards.
- When another meeting is scheduled immediately following yours, please end your meeting 5 min before your end time to allow time for your meeting to vacate the room and the other groups to start to set up.
Please be courteous, do not occupy the room past your end time when there is another meeting scheduled.- Please indicate at the time of reservation what equipment in the room you plan to use. For computer presentation, a Macintosh G4 with PowerPoint is available. Data files can be transferred on Zip disk or over the network. Contact Dr. Phillips for instructions on how to connect with this system.
- The room should remain locked at all times. Contact the IFS secretary just before your reservation to have the room unlocked, RLM11.222. Following your meeting notify the IFS secretary so the room can be locked.
- Charges - There are no charges for use of this room for non-video conference. The UT Network charges for video connections. The are no additional charges for groups or individuals in the Univ. of Texas Physics Dept. A $50/hr charge will required for outside groups if the video conferencing equipment is required.
