Conduct proof of principle experiment for fast ion
measurement with the CXRS
diagnostic.
Replace the High Frequency RF Unit in the FRCECE diagnostic
and install a new
shielded housing for the RF units in the FRCECE diagnostic.
Develop and field a utility spectrometer for
Helimak.
The spectrometer will provide a time series for a selected
wavelength band and for a selected optical access. Its
purpose is to add a monitor capability for the diagnostic.
